I am a Washington, DC, and metropolitan-based freelance science writer and editor. I have a Ph.D. in neuroscience.
I believe that a responsibility to work towards society's overall well-being comes naturally to a person trained in sciences. Therefore, after many years of bench research and pursuing two postdoctoral fellowships in neuroscience, I returned to school and earned a medical writing and editing certificate to be a full-time writer and blogger. I keep on my toes to promote mental well-being through public outreach and straightforward explanation of scientific concepts.
If you want me to write or talk about brain health and mental well-being, please get in touch with me at firstname.lastname@example.org.
